Top Ten YA Dystopian Novels

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's post is the Top Ten YA Dystopian Novels.

Please note that some of these books have fantasy aspects in them.  Or some people might not actually classify them as dystopian novels.  Whatever, they're still in my list...

Across the Universe Series by Beth Revis
Blood Red Road by Moira Young
Delirium by Lauren Oliver

The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Young
The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
The Pledge by Kimberly Derting
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

Uglies Series by Scott Westerfield
Unwind by Neal Shusterman
XVI Series by Julia Karr

And two that I desperately need to read:

Divergent by Veronica Roth
The Maze Runner by James Dashner

  1. Yes, you should definitely read Divergent. It's almost as good as Hunger Games.

    Thank you for your list!

  3. GREAT List! Somehow, I haven't read Delirium yet... I think I've been under a rock or something.

  5. I'm excited to see XVI on this list. It was one of my favorites last year, that I don't think a lot of people have heard of.

  6. Nice list! I was going to do Dystopia, but I couldn't get my list narrowed down to even close to ten! I love all these books though! Great picks!
