Twice Tempted by Jeaniene Frost

Genre:  Adult Paranormal Romance
Night Prince Series, Book 2

Description (taken from Jeaniene Frost's website):
Dating the Prince of Darkness has its challenges

Leila’s psychic abilities have been failing her, and now she isn’t sure what the future holds. If that weren’t enough, her lover Vlad has been acting distant. Though Leila is a mere mortal, she’s also a modern woman who refuses to accept the cold shoulder treatment forever–especially from the darkly handsome vampire who still won’t admit that he loves her . . .

Like choosing between eternal love and a loveless eternity

Soon circumstances send Leila back to the carnival circuit, where tragedy strikes. And when she finds herself in the crosshairs of a killer who may be closer than she realizes, Leila must decide who to trust– the fiery vampire who arouses her passions like no other or the tortured knight who longs to be more than a friend? With danger stalking her every step of the way, all it takes is one wrong move to damn her for eternity . . .

Honestly, I love Jeaniene Frost's stories.  I get so engrossed with them that time will pass me by without even noticing.  I read this book in a day, that's how into it I was.

Leila is having some relationship issues with Vlad.  She's worried he won't commit, and he's just not communicating the way people in a relationship should be communicating.  Since they're both really stubborn, we know fireworks are going to occur.  Meanwhile, Leila's life in the carnival circuit has moved on.  But the paranormal world is never going to leave her alone now that they know about her.

Vampire romance.  Dangerous paranormal surroundings.  Leila's ability to read people's deepest sins.  Vlad's need to torture his enemies.  A spotlight from Cat, our other favorite heroine of Jeaniene Frost's.  Yes, this book has everything a paranormal romance lover needs.
