manda-rae's Haul

Stacking the Shelves consists of books we received in the last week, hosted by Tynga's reviews.

I'll be working today although I did have yesterday off.  I spent the whole day cleaning, and my home is fairly clean now.  But now all I want to is read...

For Review:

  • Every You, Every Me by David Leviathon

From the Library:

  • Antigoddess by Kendare Blake
  • Impostor by Susanne Winnacker
    • Amazon | Book Depository | Goodreads
      • So when I first put a hold on this one, I accidentally put the hold on the audiobook.  I do not do well with audiobooks (ask my husband, I have zero listening skills).  So I had to ask the librarian to switch my hold over to the book.  Fortunately, the book came in a couple of days later.

For Review (e-edition):

The Ancient Codex by Louise Herman
This book sounds like it's filled with so much paranormal drama.  And paranormal romance.  It's right down my alley.

Purchased (e-edition):

Iron's Prophecy by Julie Kagawa
I figure there's going to be one day where I start reading the Iron Fey series, and that's when I'll pick this one up.  It was a freebie when I snagged it.

  3. I am trying to decide whether I should read Anti-Goddess or not! Decisions, decisions, decsions! I haven't read Every You, Every Me but I read his other book Every Day. I really didn't enjoy it as much as everyone else seemed to, but I have heard so many good things about David Levithan that I am sure you will enjoy this one!

  5. I've decided to get Anti-Goddess this week if it's still in the Waterstones special offers. I'll be getting Iron Prophecy as well. I liked book one in the series but need to catch up on the rest!
