In My Mailbox

The "In My Mailbox" post consists of which books we bought during the past week, hosted by The Story Siren.

From the Library:

• My Soul to Keep by Rachel Vincent | Amazon | Goodreads
• The third book in the Soul Screamers series.  While this series isn't a major must-read, it keeps me super entertained.  Anyone who likes paranormal stuff would most likely like this series.
• Bring on the Night by Jeri Smith-Ready | Amazon | Goodreads
• The third book in the WVMP Radio series.  Vampires!  Need I say more?
• The Dead-Tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan | Amazon | Goodreads
• The second book in The Forest of Hands and Teeth series.  There's lots of zombies in this series.  And I'm going to read this book in the hopes that there's a good and happy ending (even though a zombie apocalypse makes that highly unlikely to happen).
• High Five by Janet Evanovich | Amazon | Goodreads
• The fifth book in the Stephanie Plum series.  Bounty hunter who has no idea what she is doing.  I'm getting some tips about apprehending fugitives while maintaining a good hairstyle.
• Bite Club by Rachel Caine | Amazon | Goodreads
• The tenth book in the Morganville Vampires series.  I'm hoping to jump right in even though I read the ninth one a really long time ago.
• Linger by Maggie Stiefvater | Amazon | Goodreads
• The second book of The Wolves of Mercy Falls series.  Everyone says this series is absolutely amazing.  While I agree that the romance is great, everything else fell flat for me in the first book.  I'm going to continue this series in the hopes that it gets better (I must be missing that pure romance=awesome gene).
• Frost by Wendy Delsol | Amazon | Goodreads
• The second book in the Stork series.  Ever wondered what it's like to be a part of the Stork society and freeze your tush off in Minnesota (I can totally relate to the freezing my tush off part)?  The first book was interesting, and I'm looking forward to reading this one.

Purchased:

• Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi | Amazon | Goodreads
• All the reviews I've seen for this book made me eager to grab it.  And a Barnes & Noble coupon made it impossible for me to pass this book up.

Question for all Kindle/Nook owners:

• Is an e-reader worth it?  
• Every time I look into getting one, I always come to the conclusion that I'd much rather have the hard copy book in my hands.  I've come to the conclusion that if I were ever to get one, I'd probably only use it for library reads and anything that I couldn't get a hard copy for.  
• Are you happy with your e-readers (which one is better) and do you enjoy e-books more-so than the hard copy?
