Top Ten Books I Hope Santa Brings

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's post is the Top Ten Books I Hope Santa Brings.

Ooh, I just need to list all of the books I want right now...  This is going to be fun!!  I'm crossing my fingers and hoping I get a few of these books for Christmas.

1.  Across the Universe by Beth Revis
Yes, I have read this book.  And yes, I absolutely loved it.  And yes, I can't wait to read the next one that comes out the beginning of next year.  But no, I do not have my own personal copy of this book.  Hence, it's on the list...
2.  Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare
I'm super-excited to read this book.  Considering the fact that my husband has bought me every single book from this series and the Mortal Instruments series for either Christmas or my birthday.  I'm crossing my fingers that he keeps up with this trend...
3.  Legend by Marie Lu
I've heard good things about this book.  And it makes me want to read it...  Me love dystopian!
4.  Obsidian by Jennifer L Armentrout
Again, I've heard good things about this book.  I don't think I've read many books involving aliens.  If I have, I'm not sure the genre left an impression on me.  But I want to read this book.
5.  Shattered Souls by Mary Lindsey
Talk about a paranormal read...  I must admit though, I am solely basing my wanting this book based on the cover.  It's beautiful.
6.  Starcrossed by Joshephine Angelini
I loved the mythology and romance in this book.  I loved reading it so much that I want to get my hands on my own personal copy of this book.  Again, I can't wait for the second one to come out next year...
7.  Shadow Heir by Richelle Mead
I know I'm cheating a little because this book doesn't come out until right after Christmas.  But it's the last one in the series, and I've been dying to read it.  I really, really can't wait for this one.  Hopefully, Santa will give me a book gift card, and that's what I'll use to pick up this book two days after Christmas...
8.  The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
I've been wanting to read this book for a couple of years now.  I loved the movie and figured the book has to be super-amazing...
9.  The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
Initially, I wasn't sure about this book.  But I've heard rave reviews for this, and the cover kind of grew on me.  So, yes I want it so I can read it.

10.  Wither by Lauren DeStefano
This is one of those I wanted to pick up initially but somehow missed.  After rereading the plot premise, I still want to read it.  Again, I love dystopian books (for the most part).
