Giveaway: Back to the Future


How many books out there from different eras have you read?  Do you have any recommendations for me?  Well, I'd like to feature a book that I absolutely adored a while back.  The winner will be able to select this book or a book of his/her choosing (up to $15) from Amazon/TBD.

  2. Entrant must be 13 years of age or older.

  3. 17th century Scotland and Post WWII, I would suggest "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon. It's my very favorite book of all-time AND it features time travel!!

    Time and Again by Jack Finney is a great Time Travel novel that has wonderfully convincing recreations of the New York City of the 1880s and the New York City of the late 1960s. I really recommend it to anyone! =D

  18. I recommend James White's Second Ending. It's a futuristic short novel. I found it in my dad's bookshelf when I was in high school and I fell in love with the story.

  53. The Lost Crown set in the end of Tsarist Russia, Grave Mercy (Assassin Nuns!) The Infernal Devices set in late Victorian England. :)

  61. I recommend LUX series by Jennifer Armentrout. But if you like classic I would recommend all Jane Austen's books or North and South by Elizabeth Gaskel.

  67. Any book by Elizabeth Chadwick who writes mostly about medieval England and France, but she really makes history come alive. I've read and loved nearly all of her books. Also, read Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden, it's really captivating too.

  70. Any Kate Morton ones! I've only read The Secret Keeper and The Forgotten Garden so far but they're really good, and they tend to have modern parts and old parts as well.

  73. I would recommend: Scarlet by AC Gaughen (a retelling of Robin Hood), Fateful by Claudia Gray (a retelling of Titanic's story combined with a paranormal twist)
    and Across the Universe by Beth Revis which is set in the future.
